Cafeteria hours/what is their food like: Round the clock cafeteria, though closed twice a day for an hour for restock/cleaning
Refreshments available at L&D: (juice? coffee? snacks?) "Family room" stocked with an ice/water machine, crackers, coffee, juices, and soft drinks.

POLICIES

Eating/drinking in labor? No.  No.  No.  No.  It's too dangerous to eat in labor.
Fetal monitoring? Yes, intermittent, even with a VBAC.  If pit is started, an IUPC will be deemed necessary and possible fetal scalp electrode attached.
IV/heplock: Hep-lock minimum for VBAC.
Walking after rupture of membranes? Yes, even with IV pole, leaving the bed is possible.

Comments from doulas who have attended there: "My experience was that the nurses were very respectful of the birthing plan, to the point of excusing a student when it was noted on the birth plan to have only essential personnel in the room. Staff was extremely hands off and only hands on when asked to be. "
