"This is the most medical of the hospitals in Topeka. They have a high rate of intervention and during the birth I was attending, they did not allow the patient to be a part of the decison making process. One would have to be very verbal about her needs/ wants/ wishes when coming to this hospital. I find that many woman who are "mainstream" or medically minded, prefer this hospital. They seet he NICU as a safety net."
