I work out of the Albuquerque Metropolitan AreaIncluding Rio Rancho, Santa Fe, Los Lunas and Belen. | I am a Birthing from Within Certified Doula.Also in the process of DONA certifications. I also have experience working for UNM Mental Health and all the various certifications that were vital for that job. (CPR/First Aid, OSHA/Blood Borne Pathogen avoidance, JACHO and HIPAA Certification, Suicide Prevention etc) These have helped me enormously when working with actual labor and postpartum depression. I do a lot of work with Teen Pregnancy in the area's of preparation for the teen and getting together a support system and plan for after the actual delivery. Family Integration is Vital. I am extremely comfortable working within the delivery area of a teen birth. I am also a postpartum Doula and realize that whether you are a single mom, a teenager, or a married couple that a newborn is taxing physically and emotionally. My service includes two visits after the birth to give mom a time to shower or take a nap or go to the grocery what ever she needs. I am happy to accommodate more than two visits as well.
