Directions from a major freeway/street: I-244 westbound to Utica. Turn left after exiting 244. Proceed to 11th Street. Hospital is located on 11th and Utica
Parking information (where do you park? are there any parking fees?): Park garage located on north side of hospital off of 11th Street. - No Fee
L&D location (floor, how to get there from parking lot): Due to construction it's best to drop off mom at main entrance if she's in labor because walks can be long. From main lobby, take elevator to Plaza level (BirthCare Center)

What kind of rooms? (L&D, LDRP..) All private LDR rooms, most postpartum rooms are private, a few are semi-private.
Cafeteria hours/what is their food like: Cafeteria open until 10 (?)
Refreshments available at L&D: (juice? coffee? snacks?) Yes - Various vending machines are available in one of the waiting areas

TV/VCR/CD available? TV in all rooms
Showers/Tubs/Jacuzzis in rooms? On floor? waterbirth available? Each LDR has at least a shower - Some bathtubs may be available

COMMENTS FROM DOULAS WHO HAVE ATTENDED THERE- "This hospital is very doula friendly. All of the nurses appreciate the work of doulas. As stated above, if you want to use a tape/CD player, or birth ball, you must bring your own. Most of the postpartum rooms are private. A few are semi-private."
